The Badri Academy for Knowledge and Capacity Development, the educational arm of the Nama Foundation for the Advancement of Women (Nama), organizes a number of electronic workshops on developing many personal skills necessary to enhance the ability to achieve success and face life challenges imposed by the current circumstances, in cooperation with the School of Life organization, whose headquarters London, after the two sides concluded a partnership agreement for this purpose.

The series of workshops follows the success of the virtual educational lectures organized by the Academy with the aim of promoting participatory education at home during the period of social distancing.

The first workshop will be launched today entitled "The Art of Diplomacy", in which the expert in public speaking, Monica McCarthy, will present a set of tips and effective methods to master the art of negotiation, the skills of speaking gracefully, and dealing with others in difficult situations, whether at home or the workplace, from the hour 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Next month will witness two workshops, the first entitled "Objectivity" and the second "Flexibility", on November 11 and 24, respectively, while a virtual dialogue session will be broadcasted to discuss the topic of "Adaptation to Change" on December 21st.

Mona Al Ali, Director of the Badri Academy for Knowledge and Capacity Development, said: “We signed a partnership agreement with the School of Life Organization to present a series of workshops and dialogue sessions for the local and international audiences, based on our belief in the necessity of acquiring self-control skills, self-understanding and flexibility, especially at a time of witness The world has unprecedented conditions and a state of uncertainty, whether at the level of professional or personal life.

She explained that this specialized series of workshops and sessions is not limited to project owners and entrepreneurs, but rather aims to enhance the personal life skills of participants from various groups of society.

For his part, the founder of the School of Life organization, Alain de Bouton, stressed that the main reason for the challenges that countries and companies face is not a lack of knowledge or technical skills, but rather a lack of life and social skills necessary to deal with others.

It is noteworthy that the "School of Life" is an organization established to help people find calm, self-understanding, flexibility and communication, especially in times of crisis. It deals with six main topics: self-knowledge, relationships, work, calm, social communication, entertainment and culture.
