Coasters, small animals and key cases with cartoon images, small animal pencil cases, scarves, messenger bags, woolen dolls... These cute-looking and soft-feeling woolen products are all made by teachers and students of Northwest Normal University.

In order to exercise the students' ability to use their hands and brains, the school offers an elective course "The Making of Woolen Handicrafts". When students complete their works, they will experience the fun of hands-on work, resolve bad emotions, and earn 2 credits at the same time.

Jia Jiong, the teacher who taught the subject, said that of the more than 70 students in the class, there are only 3 boys.

Compared with girls, boys have a rougher personality, but their works are innovative and bold, not losing to girls.

The works completed by students in class can be given as gifts or collected by themselves.
