Singer Yoo Seung-joon (44, US Steve Seung-joon) said that the ban on entry to him was "a serious violation of human rights," and asked Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha for permission to enter the country again.

On the 27th, Seung-Jun Yoo posted a long post to Minister Kang on social media, saying, "Please, consider the issue of my indefinite entry ban, and now please allow me to enter the country."

Minister Kang said that he decided not to issue a visa after reviewing the case again after the Supreme Court ruling that Yoo Seung-joon won at the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs and Transportation Affairs Committee the day before.

Yoo Seung-joon said, "There was an inevitable situation in which, if you do not acquire citizenship, you will be in danger of losing even your permanent residency," he said, although he is still very sorry for not keeping his promise with his fans to enlist.

"The choice I had to acquire US citizenship in the past was a very common and natural choice for immigrants, and there is no legal problem."

He also appealed, "I am only a middle-aged uncle with four children, who are forgotten even if they are already forgotten," and "I am not a political criminal, a terrorist, a criminal, and I am not a person who will adversely affect the Republic of Korea."

Yoo Seung-jun was restricted from entering the country by the Ministry of Justice after giving up his Korean nationality in 2002. In 2015, he applied for permission to enter Korea on an overseas Korean visa (F-4) and was denied.

He filed a lawsuit asking for cancellation and won the Supreme Court's reappeal in March this year, but the Consulate-General of Los Angeles again refused to issue a visa and filed a lawsuit.

However, the purpose of the Supreme Court ruling was that the lawful procedures were not followed in the process of refusing to issue a visa, and it was not intended to issue a visa.

On the 13th, Yoo Seung-joon is also actively remarking by posting a long public refutation on social media about the remarks of Military Manpower Administration Chief Mo Jong-hwa that he should continue to be banned from entering the country.
