Kofu City announced that it was confirmed that a woman in her twenties living in the city was newly infected with the new coronavirus.
According to the city, the woman was a close contact with a patient who was confirmed to be infected in Tokyo this month, and a PCR test was conducted on the 26th, confirming the infection.
The city is investigating the behavioral history of women.
A total of 204 people have been confirmed infected in Yamanashi Prefecture.
