, broadcast on France 2 a fortnight ago.

During this broadcast dedicated to the coronavirus health crisis, the mayor of the city was forced to appear in duplex when the Minister of Health, Olivier Veran, who was the guest of honor, was on stage.

"I should have screamed. I was angry, but I kept it to myself," she blurted out in the pages of the daily.

Michèle Rubirola explains to

that there would have been "a misunderstanding on the organization": the broadcasting of a video was first considered, before the organizer offered to come to the stage and then a duplex was finally decided "because between Véran and [her], it fighte all the time".

"I should have got angry"

According to the city council, the technical installation also left something to be desired.

No feedback, listening out of the way, she said she had lived a nightmare: "I was completely lost when I was asked questions, I tried to concentrate while still hearing myself speak."

While some viewers had the impression of seeing her reading notes during the duplex, she categorically denies, “I was told 'You are looking at the iPad screen', but they were not notes. I think my gaze was too low. "

The mayor puts on a layer: "I should have been angry about the conditions of the show. I was alone, there, with a lousy table, no lighting, no makeup."

Michèle Rubirola is not the first personality to complain about the shooting conditions of the France 2 program. Jean-Luc Mélenchon refused at the last minute to participate in this number of "Vous ont la parole" devoted to the crisis sanitary.

He accused the show of having changed the planned course a few hours before filming at the request of Olivier Véran.

On the set, the journalist Thomas Sotto answered him by assuring that it was the leader of rebellious France who had made unacceptable demands, starting with his refusal to intervene if Olivier Véran remained on the set.
