Regarding the online transmission of "multiple positive cases in Huamu area", the official Weibo of the Press Office of the People’s Government of Shanghai Pudong New Area issued a notice on the evening of the 26th, stating that on October 22, there were 1 in Pudong New Area. Cases of overseas immigrants who developed symptoms during the "7+7" quarantine period were diagnosed after comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and imaging diagnosis results, and were transferred to the Municipal Public Health Clinical Center for treatment.

  The notification pointed out that relevant departments have checked close contacts, general contacts, and close contacts of the case in accordance with the prevention and control requirements, all implemented corresponding management measures, and all conducted nucleic acid sampling tests. The current results are all negative.

  The notification also stated that public parts such as the aisles and elevators of the patient’s residence have also been disinfected in accordance with the specifications.
