With five departments out of ten affected by the curfew, the Grand-Est is largely affected by the new wave of covid-19.

Faced with this situation, the Regional Health Agency (ARS) announced on Monday that it had requested since Friday the implementation of the white plan in all establishments in the greater region.

Clearly, this device allows them "to immediately mobilize the means of any kind available to it in the event of an influx of patients or victims or to deal with an exceptional health situation," recalls the ARS in a press release.

According to the latest official figures, the situation has clearly deteriorated in the Grand-Est in recent days.

Over the period from October 14 to 20, the incidence rate was 209 positive cases for the virus per 100,000 inhabitants.

A figure certainly below the national average (290) but with particular situations for certain departments.

The Bas-Rhin is the most affected (272), ahead of the Aube (248), the Ardennes (245) and the Marne (218).

Each time, and like everywhere in France, it is the large agglomerations where the epidemic is developing the most.

As in the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg (362 positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants) or Greater Nancy (272).
