China News Service, Jilin, October 26 (Shi Hongyu) The painted art gallery decorated with colors by An Junfeng and 23 art teachers has attracted a lot of attention recently.

They used old-style motorcycles, bicycles, old machine tools and other elements in the wall painting, bringing multiple flavors to the city in late autumn.

These art teachers are from Jilin City, Jilin Province, and they have completed 260-meter-long painted works on Suihua Road in Longtan District.

"These works record the chemical history of our city." An Junfeng said.

Jilin Petrochemical, known as the “eldest son of the new China chemical industry”, is located in Jilin City. There are many chemical companies in the downstream of the industrial chain and more than 1,000 large-scale chemical plants.

New China's first barrel of dye and first bag of chemical fertilizer was born here.

An Junfeng believes that chemical industry is part of the local human history, and generations of people have memories of using locally produced bicycles, motorcycles, and machine tools.

It can be seen on the scene that the performance techniques of the works are different.

In order to highlight the 3D effect, the pictures of bicycles and motorcycles use raised material panels; in order to highlight the theme of environmental protection, the creators use discarded beverage bottle caps as lines; in order to narrow the distance with children, some works also use cartoon elements... …
