It is the veteran in the context who will be the heavy presenter: Gina Dirawi will now be historically the first woman to lead the Melodifestivalen three times.

Already in 2012, she took the stage together with Helena Bergström and Sarah Dawn Finer.

That same year, she was a panel member in "Before the Eurovision song contest".

In 2013, Dirawi was the host again, along with artist Danny Saucedo.

Eight presenters

With him on the tour, Dirawi has seven guest presenters, one for each competition.

First out is comedian Petra Mede:

- I think it will be very, very fun to do this together with Gina, says Petra Mede at SVT's press conference.

In the other competitions, the Melodifestivalen is visited by Charlotte Perrelli, William Spetz, Sarah Dawn Finer and Henrik Schyffert, among others.

- Gina and I had a great relationship last time, we became almost like sisters, says Sarah Dawn Finer, who does a host rehearsal with Dirawi from 2012.

- My children are completely uninterested in this, and most uninterested in me.

They have only asked if Pewdiepie should participate, says Schyffert jokingly, who hosted a competition together with Erik Haag in 2005.

Veterans and new additions

A newcomer in this context will be William Spetz, originally known as a video blogger on Youtube.

The platform where Gina Dirawi also started her career.

The Youtube comedian will lead the final together with Dirawi.

He has appeared in the SVT Play series "Scenes from a teenage life" and "Let's set a scene" on SVT Flow.

At 19 years old, Spetz will be the competition's youngest host ever.

It will be all the more intermediate in the second chance competition, which will be the tour's fifth stop.

There, the festival will be led by Ola Salo and Peter Jöback.

Ola Salo participated in the Melodifestivalen 2007 with the band The Ark, which won the competition.

Peter Jöback has competed three times, 1990, 2010 and 2013.
