October 25th is the Chongyang Festival on the ninth day of the ninth month of the lunar calendar. The Shanghai 100-year-old birthday star list is announced in 2020. There are 4 pairs of 100-year-old couples in Shanghai for the first time, and the 100-year-old birthday stars exceed 3,000 for the first time.
In addition, there are 1949 "pre-centenary birthday stars" at the age of 99.
As of September 30, 2020, Shanghai has a population of 3,009 elderly people aged 100 and above, with men accounting for 26.02% and women accounting for 73.98%.
Xu Suzhen (female), 113, is currently the oldest person in Shanghai, and Tao Ruisheng, now 110, is the oldest female and male birthday star in Shanghai.
