[Explanation] On October 22, the 2020 Pujiang Innovation Forum with the theme of "Science and Technology Cooperation and Innovation Co-governance" opened in Shanghai.

Six Chinese and foreign medical experts launched a special dialogue on technological innovation and co-treatment of global health.

On a global scale, the uneven control of the epidemic will have a great impact on the global economic development and all aspects of development. Under such circumstances, how to launch cooperation between various countries depends on the power of science and technology. In the end, we can control the virus and reopen the world. I think this is very important.

[Explanation] At the same time, Zhang Wenhong believes that secondary infections are not worth discussing at present, because among the 40 million (cases) infected people in the world, there may be only 9 people with secondary infections. At present, the most important ones are vaccines and drug.

I personally think that the most important thing in the world today is the first vaccine and the second drug. Other issues are still not a problem.

[Explanation] Chen Erzhen, deputy dean of Ruijin Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, also affirmed the necessity of building a global health system, saying that health knows no borders.

For such cases in other countries around the world, we should cooperate to sum up these experiences and explore whether there are any defects in the treatment process, especially how to reduce the mortality rate when the mortality rate is still high. I think we should strengthen cooperation and do such an exploration.

[Explanation] On the same day, Wang Zhigang, Minister of Science and Technology, Gong Zheng, deputy secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, and Mayor Gong Zheng jointly launched the Global Technology Transfer Conference Cloud Exhibition and China's innovation demand release.

Li Meng, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Wu Qing, Member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and Deputy Mayor, Xu Ningsheng, President of Fudan University, and Lin Zhongqin, President of Shanghai Jiaotong University, jointly unveiled the Shanghai National Center for Applied Mathematics.
