One Liberal Democratic Party member was confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the Okinawa Prefectural Assembly, and nine of the same Liberal Democratic Party members who underwent PCR testing as close contacts were found to be infected.

A total of 10 LDP lawmakers have confirmed the infection, and Okinawa Prefecture has announced that a group of infected people = a cluster has occurred.

At the Okinawa Prefectural Assembly, one member of the Liberal Democratic Party was confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus on the 22nd, and with this member, he visited remote islands in the prefecture for four days until the 21st, and had a meeting with food and drink at night. Seventeen members of the same LDP parliamentary group who went there underwent a PCR test as close contacts.



According to the prefectural assembly secretariat, the test results will be revealed on the 26th next week, and it was found that 9 out of 16 members, excluding one living in Miyakojima City, were infected.



The remaining seven lawmakers were negative.
