Yomiuri Travel Hokkaido Tour Participants and Crew A total of 12 people infected with the new corona October 22, 21:45

Yomiuri Travel Service, a major travel agency, announced that a total of 12 people, including participants and crew members of the Hokkaido tour conducted in the middle of this month, were infected with the new coronavirus.

The Yomiuri Travel Service, which is headquartered in Tokyo, moved from Kansai to New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido in mid-October, and 38 people participated in a tour that took a bus around Hokkaido for 3 nights and 4 days.

According to the company, PCR tests revealed that by the 22nd, 12 men and women in their 40s and 80s had been infected with the new coronavirus among the tour participants and crew.

In both cases, the symptoms are mild or asymptomatic.

Of the remaining participants and crew, 17 are negative and 12 are waiting for the test.

The company has to assume that there was a mass infection during the tour.

One infected person fills in and submits a pre-departure health check sheet with "yes" to the question "Are there any respiratory symptoms or dysgeusia such as cough, sore throat, suffocation, chest pain?" I was doing it, but the crew overlooked it.

Yomiuri Travel Service commented, "We apologize for the spread of the infection."
