China News Service, October 22. According to the website of the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, at 0-24 o'clock on October 21, Guangdong Province added 3 newly imported confirmed cases. Guangzhou reported 2 cases from Nigeria and 1 case from Iran.
There were 15 newly imported asymptomatic infections from abroad, 14 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 9 cases were from Nigeria, and the remaining 5 cases were from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia and Mauritania; Shenzhen reported 1 case, from Germany.
All of the above were found at the port of entry or isolation point, and were quarantined for observation after entry.
4 new cases were discharged.
As of 24:00 on October 21, Guangdong Province has reported a total of 1895 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia (499 imported cases).
39 cases are currently in hospital.
