The magnitude 4.7 earthquake in Beichuan, Sichuan caused a strong sense of earthquake. This earthquake is almost at the same location as yesterday's magnitude 4.6.
The epicenter was 14 kilometers away from Beichuan County, 62 kilometers away from Mianyang City, and 132 kilometers away from Chengdu City.
Since the beginning of this year, Sichuan has experienced 78 earthquakes of magnitude 3 or higher, of which 66 were of magnitude 3.0 to 3.9, 10 were of magnitude 4.0 to 4.9, 2 were of magnitude 5.0 to 5.9, and 0 were of magnitude 6.0 or higher.
