The gusts of wind force Enedis to intervene to restore the network.

The wind blew strong again this Wednesday morning in Pays-de-la-Loire, and especially in Maine-et-Loire and Sarthe, which had been placed on yellow vigilance.

So much so that several hours after the passage of storm Barbara, still 12,000 homes in these two departments were still without electricity, reports Enedis at the beginning of the afternoon.

Some 250 agents are mobilized to restore power.

If storm Barbara mainly affected southwestern France, some damage was reported this morning, without causing any injuries.

In Maine-et-Loire, firefighters have identified around fifty interventions between 7am and 9:30 am and two “minor” road accidents.

In Angers, large falls of trees even caused the closure of the garden of plants.
