After that, Governor Koike also met with Minister of the Environment Koizumi and requested coordination with related organizations so that the opening of the air route would be in harmony with the natural environment of the Ogasawara Islands, which is registered as a World Natural Heritage Site.

After the meeting, Governor Koike told reporters, "I was able to share my consciousness with Minister Akabane and Minister Koizumi very enthusiastically listening to their requests."
