【Poverty Alleviation Story】Fujian: Poverty Alleviation Film Enters She Village and She People Happy
On October 20th, a projectionist from Xiapu County Film Company in Fujian Province brought equipment to Wujiayang Natural Village, Yaoao Village, Yantian Township, Xiapu County, to screen the digital film "One Never Fall" on the theme of poverty alleviation.
The local villagers were all happy to be able to watch a movie at home.
Wujiayang is a small She ethnic minority village with more than 30 households. It is also a provincial poverty alleviation village. Due to its remote location and inconvenient transportation, most villagers have not been able to watch movies for more than 20 years.
In recent years, the local government has successively invested more than 4 million yuan to build a 3.7-kilometer-long cement road into the village. The production and living conditions of the villagers have been significantly improved. By the end of 2018, the village has successfully alleviated poverty.
