It is above all an awareness campaign.

ARS Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in conjunction with the University of Bordeaux and with the support of the Bordeaux University Hospital and the Exalab laboratory, is launching a vast screening campaign among students in the Bordeaux conurbation.

They are encouraged to get tested massively during the All Saints holidays.

They can go to the laboratory closest to their home or to the free screening operations organized by the ARS (Arkea Arena and Munich square), with their student card.

At the same time, the health authorities are deploying two screening operations on campuses: one on the Montaigne Montesquieu university domain (avenue Léon Duguit from October 21 to November 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday) and the other intended to health students, on the Carreire campus.

The objective of the ARS is "to sensitize this population among which the virus circulates actively and often in an unnoticed way because asymptomatic."

"It is essential to encourage them to be tested in order to limit as much as possible the risks of contamination of their loved ones and to break the chains of transmission of the virus in the metropolis with the intergenerational reunion of All Saints' Day", insists the regional agency of health.
