It has been confirmed that the two juniors who have just turned 20 are a couple, studying in the computer network technology class of Lanzhou Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College.
In July of this year, they came to the China Electronic Panda Group in Nanjing for internship as labor dispatchers from Nanjing Jinghuang Labor Service Company.
The family members learned from the public security agency that two college students booked a room for 3 days online.
On October 9, the hotel staff failed to open the door for the first time.
On October 10, the police broke in and found that they not only locked the door, but also blocked the gap with tape.
There were two charcoal-burning basins in the bathroom. Forensic medicine identified the cause of death as "carbon and oxygen poisoning."
Xue Shouguo told reporters that his family learned from the police that Chen Xiaowei had left a suicide note at the scene to the effect that "life is too tired and disappointed."
Xue Xinxin's uncle Xue Zhanfeng said that he had watched surveillance video and the last time the two young men appeared was after 23:00 on October 6.
He noticed that Xue Xinxin pushed Chen Xiaowei a bit, "It doesn't look like he is about to commit suicide."
In addition, the surveillance camera also recorded the two people entering and leaving the apartment 3 times, bringing wine, a basin, and a small black bag.
On October 19, in an interview with a reporter from China Youth Daily and China Youth Daily, the parents of both sides expressed doubts about the cause of the suicide of the two, and questioned the management problems of the school, the employer, and the labor service company.
At present, the Sheshan Police Station of the Nanjing Public Security Bureau initially determined that the two had committed suicide and did not file a case. The school and the family are negotiating to handle the matter.
Various sources indicate that before the tragedy took shape, the two college students owed more than 10,000 yuan in debt.
Xue Shouguo also helped his daughter repay more than 10,000 yuan in loans.
But the reason why the two committed suicide is still a mystery.
"It's less to say that there are 20,000 to 30,000 yuan (debts). Just in their dormitory, one of the classmates lent him at least 10,000 yuan." In the recording provided by Xue Xinxin's sister, a staff member of Nanjing Jinghuang Labor Service Company said that she Can confirm that Chen Xiaowei is carrying debts.
When the reporter asked for evidence, the staff member reiterated that the matter was true.
A classmate also said that during the internship, Chen Xiaowei repeatedly borrowed money from three other students in the same dormitory, but each time he borrowed and repaid the loan. The reason for the loan was to see a doctor for his girlfriend. Or come back.
When leaving, he also took away the laptop of a classmate in the same dormitory.

However, his father, Chen Qixiong, heard from a teacher surnamed Huang at the school after the incident that Chen Xiaowei may have been involved in "Black Boxing" (an illegal boxing match with a gambling nature). But in March of this year, Xue Shouguo was angry with his daughter.

She secretly transferred two to three thousand yuan to her mother from WeChat.
After being spotted, she gave the reason that Chen Xiaowei's mother was sick, and she borrowed a sum of money, lent it to Chen Xiaowei, and now has to repay the loan.
For this reason, Xue Shouguo asked Chen Xiaowei for proof. Chen Xiaowei admitted that this happened, but his mother has died.
It was not until the parents of both sides met that Xue Shouguo learned that this was a lie.
"At that time, I was thinking of people in trouble, and I was too embarrassed to pursue money." Xue Shouguo said that at that time, he knew his daughter was in love for the first time, but the father and daughter did not talk about this issue in detail.
On July 11 this year, after Xue Xinxin went out for an internship, Xue Shouguo received loan reminders from Lanzhou, Wuhan, and Beijing, and received a lawyer’s letter from Guangdong Dana (Wuhan) Law Firm in a text message. On August 28, Xue Xinxin transferred 1,000 yuan to his parents, saying that he had paid 3500 yuan (internship salary), and the rest was enough.
A student who was doing an internship with Xue Xinxin said that during the internship, Xue Xinxin borrowed 500 yuan from her roommate.
This girl is not in the same class as the other three people in the dormitory. She usually doesn't talk a lot. Sometimes she hangs out with her boyfriend. In addition, the factory shifts are different. Therefore, after the other party left the dormitory, they did not pay attention.
The foreman came once and called the police when he found the problem.
"Foreman" refers to the staff of Jinghuang Labor Service Company.
"If it's a question of money, the child said that we will pay it back, and we can't kill it." Chen Qixiong told reporters sadly.
Chen Qixiong's mobile phone was broken, and only the chat messages after August 28 were saved.
Many times, he initiated a video chat request to his son Chen Xiaowei, but no response was received.
After more than a month, the father and son also had simple conversations such as "do you take a break today", "do you rest more", "don't work overtime", and "make me a video."
On October 4, he sent a video of himself working on a construction site to his son, and his "dog baby" did not reply to him.
Since then, there has been no news.
On October 9th, he left a sentence to his son "I miss you very much".
Xue Xinxin had relatively more exchanges with Xue Shouguo.

More than 20 days later, she also sent her "graduate self-recommendation letter" to Xue Shouguo.

Another teacher involved in the aftermath of the hospital told reporters that he did not understand the cause of the child's suicide. He should have seen the two students before, but he was not impressed.
According to local media reports, after learning the news, Lanzhou Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College set up an emergency working group and arranged three staff members to fly to Nanjing on October 11 to verify and assist in handling the aftermath.
On October 13, the school sent a legal adviser to Nanjing to assist in the handling.
The family member came to the school on the afternoon of October 16, and the school arranged food and lodging for the family members.
At present, the school working group is still negotiating with family members on handling the incident.
In response to the parents' questioning, the staff of Nanjing Jinghuang Labor Service Company said that they actively cooperated with the police investigation and planned to rush to Lanzhou to give condolences, but a family member told them on the phone that they did not need to rush over.
As for the family's doubts about the check-in and supervision of the child within a few days of losing contact, the staff member replied that he could not see the company's shift schedule, "only see this month's attendance next month."
