Recently, the construction of the main body of the Dashixia Water Conservancy Project is progressing steadily. More than 1,000 workers and about 270 large machines from the Gezhouba Group are busy on the construction site.

The Xinjiang Dashixia Water Conservancy Project started in November 2019, and the main construction contents include water retaining dams, spillways, flood and sand discharge tunnels, and water diversion and power generation systems.

After the completion of the project, it will help improve the ecological environment of the Tarim River Basin and promote the economic and social development of southern Xinjiang.
