Donor ends the suffering of the family of "Umm Waddah"

A donor sponsored 44,980 dirhams, to help “Umm Waddah” pay her son’s study arrears for the year 2018/2019 and pay rent arrears for the family’s home. “Umm Waddah expressed her sincere thanks to the donor for standing with them in light of the financial circumstances. The difficult circumstances they are going through, pointing out that this donation is not strange to state personnel in their solidarity with humanitarian cases, and to extend a helping hand to every needy person.

The "hotline" coordinated between the donor and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai to transfer the amount of the donation to the concerned authorities.

On October 13th, Emirates Today published the story of the suffering of Umm Waddah, who said that her financial condition had greatly worsened after her husband suffered severe kidney failure in 2018, which led to his admission to Tawam Hospital in Al-Ain, where he received the necessary treatment for two months. During this period, his services were terminated due to his illness, and she became the sole breadwinner for her family of five, and these circumstances caused them to accumulate debts, whether in school or rent arrears.

She added, "I was able to manage our daily life a little, as I work as a bus supervisor in a government school in Al Ain with a salary of 1400 dirhams, and it barely meets our requirements."

And she continued: “I am still looking for any source of help so that I can provide for my family, but there are financial obligations that do not wait. His friends, because of matters he has no involvement in. ”

She indicated that her son “Waddah” has completed his secondary education in a private school in Al Ain, but he is currently unable to receive the certificate due to school arrears amounting to 19,980 dirhams, and she is not able to do anything for him.

She added, "I am facing another problem, which is my inability to pay the rent arrears for the house in which I live, which amounted to 25 thousand dirhams, and we are threatened with expulsion in the event of non-payment, and my sick husband is threatened with imprisonment."
