It is a weakened Horoya who presented himself against the Egyptians of Pyramids FC, in Casablanca, in the semi-final of the Confederation Cup.

Several of the Guinean club's players had tested positive for Covid-19.

for the answers to the last test this morning to fix us definitively

", declared Monday the coach of the Red and White, Lamine Ndiaye.

Top scorer Boniface Haba, and Ghanaian Enock Atta to name a few, were missing.

Not to mention the lack of competition due to coronavirus when the Egyptians have played far more games since last July, and the absence of Burkinabè Aristide Bancé, injured in the knee.

The task promised to be complicated.

Pyramids FC wake up at the end of the game

Despite everything, the first half ended with a 0-0 as Pyramids FC dominated.

The Guineans still had forty-five minutes to create a surprise and reach the final against the sporting Renaissance of Berkane.

Finally, Ibrahim Hassan scores the first goal of the match giving Pyramids FC the advantage (74th).

A minute later, his teammate Abdallah El Said doubled the bet to take cover as the game was well advanced.

It is therefore the Egyptians who will be in the final on Sunday 25 October.
