The nucleic acid test was positive on the evening of October 18.

After consultation with experts, a confirmed case was diagnosed based on epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory test and imaging examination results.

After entering the country, he was quarantined and observed and developed symptoms during the period.

  Case 5 is of Egyptian nationality and lives in Egypt. He departed from Egypt on October 16 and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on October 17 after transiting through Austria. After entering the country, he was quarantined for observation and developed symptoms during the period.

  The 5 imported confirmed cases abroad have been transferred to designated medical institutions for treatment, and 67 close contacts on the same flight have been tracked, and centralized isolation and observation have been implemented.
