Around 9:30 pm on the 19th, a passenger car running on the bank road along the Iruma River in Kamiokutomi, Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture, fell to the riverbed.



There were four men in the car, and two men, a man driving and a man sitting in the passenger seat, were confirmed dead on the spot.



In addition, two 20-year-old men who were sitting in the back seats were treated at the hospital with serious injuries such as hitting their heads and breaking their legs.

The site is a gently curved road along the Iruma River, about 2 km north of Sayamashi Station on the Seibu Railway, with no guardrail, and is about 10 meters high from the riverbed.
