It is above all people in the performing arts and music who have been affected by unemployment during the pandemic and the vast majority live in the big cities of Gothenburg, Stockholm and Malmö.

- During the summer, we saw a brightening, where more people get jobs and things start to turn slowly.

Things are starting to happen out there, more performances, films and productions are starting to start, so it's fun to watch, says Kevni Zulal, unit manager at ArbetsförmedlingenKultur och Media.

Many get cultural jobs

One question that arises is whether it is about cultural jobs or whether people leave the culture and go to other professions.

- We were also curious about it.

We did a survey and checked with those who have gotten jobs in the last 2-3 months and it turned out that 80 percent had actually gone to the cultural labor market, says Kevni Zulal.
