Gérald Darmanin announced on Monday that he had asked the prefect of Seine-Saint-Denis to close the Pantin mosque, who had notably relayed on his Facebook page a video denouncing the course on the caricatures of Muhammad by Samuel Paty, the professor assassinated on Friday by beheading during the attack in Conflans. 

"I asked the prefect of Seine-Saint-Denis to close the Pantin mosque," said the Minister of the Interior on TF1 during a quick interview with the television news, specifying that the prefect had to "sign this (Monday) evening his ban ”.
