Except that a little before 8 p.m., Jean-Luc Mélenchon announced on social networks that he would not participate in the show following a change in his organization.

"A change in the organization of the show leads me to give up my participation in this show. I had to open to respond to Macron last night. Another unfolding took place at the last minute. France 2 says it is at the request of Minister Véran. I do not believe it. It is the result of the mess and bad practices of this team about which all the invited politicians have complained. Political broadcasts must respect their guests. On public service, opponents also have rights. "

"Salamé and Sotto are liars", says Mélenchon

France 2's response was given on the set by Léa Salamé and Thomas Sotto.

"Jean-Luc Mélenchon should have been our guest. But a little over an hour ago, the leader of France Insoumise demanded that Mr. Véran leave the stage because he did not want to debate with him. It is a A condition that was never discussed, we had established very clear rules. We keep the editorial control of the program, so we did not accede to his request, "said Thomas Sotto.

In response, on Twitter, the leader of France Insoumise did not mince words.

“Salamé and Sotto are liars. They do not control their 'editorial line': it is just chaos. They are dreary passes and the zero audience proves failure. When will a real political show on the PAF? The private sector should get started. "

Salamé and Sotto are liars.

They do not control their "editorial line": it is just chaos.

These are dreary hatches and the zero audience proves failure.

When will there be a real political program on the PAF?

The private sector should get started.
