On the evening of October 14, local time, French President Macron conducted a live television conversation and announced that Paris, Lyon, Marseille and other places in France would implement curfews in response to the rebound of the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

  Macron said that the current epidemic in France is “not out of control”, but it is “worrying” and is now “in the second wave of epidemics”.

He announced that France has imposed a curfew to curb the further spread of the new crown virus. The curfew areas include Paris (covering the greater Paris area), Lyon, Marseille, Lille, Montpellier, Rouen, Saint-Etienne, Grenoble And Toulouse.

  The curfew will officially take effect this Saturday (17th), and the curfew will be from 9 pm to 6 am the next day for at least 4 weeks.

Those who violate the curfew will be punished, the first violation will be fined 135 euros, and the second violation will be fined 1,500 euros.

  The epidemic data released by the French Ministry of Health that night showed that France had 22,591 newly confirmed cases in a single day on the 14th, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases on the same day approached 780,000, reaching 779,063.
