The Superior Audiovisual Council (CSA) has launched a new sanctioning procedure against C8 broadcasts "Touche pas à mon poste" and "La Grande Darka", hosted by Cyril Hanouna.

The audiovisual gendarme points the finger at clandestine advertising.

Cyril Hanouna is once again in the sights of the CSA.

The Superior council of audio-visual launched a new procedure of sanction against "Touche pas à mon poste", but also against "La Grande Darka", revealed Wednesday the magazine

Capital

.

The audiovisual gendarme accuses the host of C8 of having carried out clandestine advertising in two broadcasts dated September 2019. The sanctions, quite broad, can range from almonds to a suspension of advertising, by the way even through a temporary suspension of emissions.

A clandestine advertisement for a dark airline

In question, this time: an accusation of clandestine advertising.

"When questioned, the CSA did not want to specify what the sanctioning procedure was about. But it would be the promotion of Skyline Airways in September 2019", indicates

Capital.

In September 2019, in the two programs, Cyril Hanouna indeed offers spectators present in the public plane tickets of the airline Skyline Airways.

On the air, the host-producer quotes the brand, thanks it and also publishes a promotional tweet.

Problem: the airline ... does not exist.

The case is rather hazy, the founder of Skyline Airways maintains that there was no scam, but some very shady things have happened.

The company's website showed planes in Skyline Airways colors, but it was actually a photo montage.

The company claimed to have made hundreds of flights in August and September, when no plane had taken off, and the merchant site was put into maintenance a few days after the broadcast, without ever being put back online.

"It is therefore a few Internet users and journalists, armed only with a browser and a mouse, who will carry out these checks. They discover in a few clicks that almost everything is bogus at Skyline Airways. The photographs of planes in the colors of Skyline Airways presented on its site are false: they are retouched photos of the company Air Berlin. The flights offered do not correspond to any existing flight, and their schedules do not take into account the time difference ... ", describes

Capital.

Who adds:

"On its site full of spelling errors, Skyline Airways also claims to be 'the representative in France' of a company called

Skyline Airways Ireland Ltd

, but this one is unknown to the Irish Commercial Register."

A fairly wide range of sanctions

The CSA will have to decide.

The range of sanctions is wide and can range from a warning to a fine, including the suspension of advertising for a period of time.

The procedure, started last year, is entering its home stretch.

An independent rapporteur had been appointed and he delivered his conclusions this summer.

The chain and the production had the opportunity to respond, and it is now up to the CSA to take stock of things before deciding.

"They try to make us go from victims to guilty," lamented the host at the time on twitter.

Contacted by the magazine, neither Cyril Hanouna nor the management wished to react again.
