Dexter

a reprieve

Seven years after its controversial end to its story, the serial killer will return in 2021 for ten new episodes.

Production should be launched early next year for broadcast during the following fall.

“We would only revisit this unique character if we could find a creative angle that truly befits the brilliant original series.

No details have yet filtered as to the fate that will be reserved for Dexter, played by actor Michael C. Hall.

As a reminder (beware of spoilers if you have not yet taken the time to discover the series), the serial killer had faked his death in the final episode of season 8. He then went to Oregon to live under a new identity, and became a lumberjack.

We were unsatisfied.
