A heinous crime witnessed in the Zarqa Governorate in Jordan, with which the Jordanian public opinion was greatly preoccupied, and activists on social media denounced the heinous crime, demanding the most severe penalties for the perpetrators.


Jordan's King Abdullah II intervened, following up on the details of the incident, until the perpetrators were arrested.


In detail, a group of people amputated the arms of a 16-year-old juvenile, and the Jordanian society interacted with the heinous crime, and the Jordanian King Abdullah II followed the details of the incident until the moment of the arrest of the perpetrators.


The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate, Colonel Amer Al-Sartawi, issued a statement in which he said that a 16-year-old boy was treated in a bad condition at Zarqa Governmental Hospital after he was beaten and amputated on the forearms of his hands and in his eyes. A precedent set by his father, they blocked him, took him to an empty area, and beat him with sharp tools.


The media spokesman added that, as soon as the report was received, investigations began to determine the identity of the attackers and arrest them.

And he cautioned against circulating, publishing or re-publishing the video in which the victim of assault appeared in the Zarqa crime.


An eyewitness, familiar with the details of the crime, said to a number of Arab newspapers and websites that the cause of the crime was the criminal’s revenge for the death of his uncle, at the hands of the victim's father (the boy), and added that the criminal (the Zarqa Assassin) cut the boy’s arms and put them in a “bag” that he discarded in water The waste.


The boy revealed in his audio recordings that he was kidnapped by ten people after he was on his way to buy bread, and then they took him to a deserted area in the eastern city, where they carried out the crime.

The boy added that God gave him strength to endure what happened to him, and that when he saw the kidnappers, he tried to flee, but they managed to catch him and take him to a house in the eastern city, where they carried out their crime.


 Jordanian Monarch King Abdullah II continued the details of the accurate security operation carried out by the Public Security Directorate - Special Police Command in a crowded, popular area, which led to the arrest of people who committed the heinous crime in Zarqa Governorate.

The king stressed the need to take the most severe legal measures against criminals who commit crimes that terrify society, pointing out the importance of citizens enjoying security and stability.

The king directed those concerned to provide the necessary treatment for the victim.


The director of Zarqa Governmental Hospital, Dr. Mabrouk Al-Sreihin, said that the vital signs of the Zarqa boy are stable and good, with all his severe physical injuries, and there is no fear for his life.
