  In 2009, Wang Danting and two partners co-founded Vientiane Culture Co., Ltd., and held the first Vientiane International Chinese Film Festival in the same year.

  The film "Like a Dream of Jinyang", with Wang Danting as the chief producer, was shortlisted for the "Starting from Shanxi" unit of the 4th Pingyao International Film Festival, and premiered in Pingyao on the 14th.

  According to Wu Jun, the director of "Like a Dream of Jinyang", the story of "Returnees" in the film is based on Wang Danting. It tells about the collisions of various ideas and differences in life after returning to their hometowns in the background of the new era.
