Li Wei, the dean of Shanxi Media College, said that Shanxi Film College will be established with Shanxi Media College as the main body.
According to reports, Shanxi Film Academy will be listed before New Year's Day in 2021, and director Jia Zhangke will be the dean of the Academy.
Shanxi Film Academy will cooperate with Pingyao International Film Festival and open a master class. It is planned to set up teaching practice bases in Pingyao County and Fenyang City, combining film and television shooting, education, tourism, etc., to build more development platforms for students.
