Variety
.
"She was one of the best," responded the creator of the series, quoted by the American site.
“We called her Chatty ['Pia pia', 'talkative'] and we all loved her.
[The shoot for the show was] twelve years of ups and downs, and lots and lots of laughs.
During all this time, she was a pillar.
I had the privilege of counting her as a friend.
"

Charlie Sheen, who starred in
My Uncle Charlie
for several seasons before being fired in 2011, spoke on Twitter of an “unexpected and painful disappearance”.
And to refer to the character she played in the sitcom: "Berta, your housekeeping was poor, but the way you treated people was perfect.
