[Explanation] On October 1, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government announced a list of awards. A total of 687 people from all walks of life in Hong Kong received recognition, including Hong Kong artist Chen Baixiang.
In an interview with reporters recently, Chen Baixiang said that he was surprised when he heard the news.

(Honoring) Two weeks ago (received notice), I was in the Mainland, and the Hong Kong (SAR) government called me and informed me. I was very polite and said, congratulations. You got this medal. It is an honor and a little surprised. , Happy, honored.
Because I didn't expect to get it, I think I was born and raised and I am doing what I should do.
[Explanation] Chen Baixiang is enthusiastic about public welfare and has established a public welfare organization. Over the years, he has brought help and warmth to people in need in society. Together with Alan Tam, Zeng Zhiwei, Anita Mui, etc., he has used the influence of artists to help more people.
In the commendation given to him by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, he was called "a model of a new generation of entertainers" and considered him "enthusiastic about public welfare, contributed a lot, and is a good example of promoting social harmony and communication."
But what he has done for Hong Kong society does not stop there. When the "Regulations Amendment Disturbance" broke out in Hong Kong in 2019, Chen Baixiang took the initiative to stand on the cusp of the storm and became the first group of artists to bravely support the police.

As a very ordinary Hong Kong person, I saw that Hong Kong suddenly seemed to have fallen. Under my common sense, I didn't expect these things to happen.
I often emphasize that it does not matter what you think. You have your ideas and I have my ideas, but there is a bottom line. You must abide by the law and you must not break the law.
Front-line (police) personnel who are struggling to run their lives, if you use violence to burn him or hurt him, and no one comes out to say something to encourage or be fair, then I will go spontaneously.
[Commentary] When the "dark violence" was at its height, Chen Baixiang took the supplies to the police station for condolences; participated in the "Guardian Hong Kong Rally", and worked with more than 310,000 Hong Kong citizens to fight violence and support the police; more on his social accounts Second public development sound.

But people cannot have their own position because of fear. There is only one word in my dictionary that I don't know how to write, that is, "fear".
If you think something is right, but you do not do what you want to do for fear, I find it boring.
[Explanation] The turmoil of amendments that has lasted for more than a year has slowly subsided. With the gradual opening of trials related to black storms, more and more lawbreakers have been punished.
For young people who have been incited to violate the law and ruined their future, Chen Baixiang has gone from being angry and distressed at first to being uncomfortable and regretful now.

In fact, it is sad. The society as a whole is unhealthy. It is not a very old saying that our future lies in the hands of young people, and our future lies in everyone's hands.
The eight universities in Hong Kong have actually cultivated a lot of talents and should do more for the society. You choose your own path, and you will be responsible if you choose. The most important thing is not to break the law.

He misses the "golden years" when Hong Kong people are fighting together and all walks of life are flourishing.
