  At about 15:40 on October 8, Li Yutian, Ou Hao, and others from the Cangxi County Public Security Bureau quickly jumped into the Jialing River to rescue the woman who fell into the river.

Li Yutian and the woman who fell into the river were washed away by the river due to the rapid current.

At 16:25 that day, Li Moumou, the woman who fell into the river, was salvaged ashore (no vital signs), and the police Li Yutian lost contact.
