Saint Maud

, the sensation of the last Gérardmer Festival, was due to be released in French theaters this summer.

An arrival on the bill which had to be postponed due to the health crisis.

The first film by Briton Rose Glass will therefore land in theaters on November 25, in perfect anticipation of the chills of winter, as the French trailer augurs on Monday.

The feature film features a home nurse - wonderfully played by Morfydd Clark - in the midst of a mystical crisis.

Convinced of receiving messages from God, she makes her daily life a calvary.

Four prizes at Gérardmer

Saint-Maud

is in line with a horrific cinema that prefers to focus on the atmosphere and the strangeness to arouse unease rather than trying to provoke easy bursts.

The film left the Gérardmer Fantastic Film Festival loaded with trophies.

The jury chaired by Asia Argento awarded him the Grand Prize.

Saint-Maud also received the critics, the young jury and the best original music.
