The patient tells his story to Emirates Today, saying: “I have been living in the country for several years, and have supported my family in Pakistan, but fate decreed that I had an incurable disease, and I entered Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, where I conducted medical examinations and analyzes. Suffered from stage four tongue cancer, and I underwent a surgery, which consisted of removing part of the tongue, after which the doctors asked me to continue the chemotherapy sessions and take other medications, because I suffer from other diseases, including: pressure, diabetes, pain, and anemia.

He added: “The cost of my treatment for a year is 151,145 dirhams, and this amount is above my modest financial capabilities, and I do not know how to manage it, in addition to the fact that the health insurance card does not cover my treatment expenses, and I work as a private driver with a salary of 1000 dirhams per month, and I cannot manage The amount of treatment I need, and I do not know what to do under the circumstances that I am ordering, as delaying treatment worsens my health condition.

He continued, "My family did not know what I had suffered, and my children were anxiously waiting to see me, but I cannot travel because my treatment is here in the country, and I appeal to the people of good and merciful hearts to help me with my treatment costs."
