Earlier this week, Netflix announced the cancellation of

GLOW

, leaving fans and the cast devastated.

But Marc Maron, one of the stars of the program, does not admit defeat and now implores Netflix to allow the series to end, not with a full season as was planned, but with a two-hour film.

“Give showrunners, cast and writers a chance to end the story in a movie.

After all will be over.

It would remove the financial pressure and we could write it and shoot it, ”begged the actor, who plays the character of Sam Sylvia in the series, during an Instagram Live relayed by People.

Small chance

“The thing about shooting a movie is that when you have the script done, you can save money on the shoot.

I think they could do it in less time than it would take to shoot a season, ”continued Marc Maron.

However, there is little chance that the actor's call will be heard.

Indeed, the filming of the fourth and final season of

GLOW

had started when the pandemic forced everything to stop.

The production is not covered by the rental costs of the film sets from now until a hypothetical recovery made uncertain given the new health instructions relating to the coronavirus.

But who knows, a turnaround is still possible.
