Gérald Darmanin is traveling this Sunday evening to the Champigny-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) police station attacked last night with mortar fire by around forty individuals.

The Minister of the Interior announced that he wanted to ban by law the sale of fireworks mortars to the public and specified that Emmanuel Macron will receive the police unions this Thursday.

"It is high time for the government to seize the violence committed against the police (...) No one respects the police", reacted Sunday Frédéric Lagache, general delegate of Alliance, union from police.
