At 16:41 on October 9th, the East China Sea Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport received dangerous information from the Fuzhou Maritime Search and Rescue Center. A cargo ship "Zhongjin 51" carrying about 5,100 tons of steel hits a rock on the south side of No. 5 Fuxing, Xinghua Bay, Fuqing, Fujian. Stranded, the ship's cabin was flooded, and there was a risk of sinking at any time. The 11 people on board were in urgent need of rescue and requested to send professional rescuers to rescue.

  After receiving the information about the danger, the rescue command duty room of the East China Sea Rescue Bureau immediately activated the emergency response plan and dispatched 116 rounds of Donghai rescue that were in the nearby waters.

At 17:23, the East China Sea Rescue Ship 116 arrived in the nearby waters and released the rescue boat for rescue; after more than half an hour of hard work, 11 crew members in distress were safely connected to the rescue boat in two batches and returned to the mother ship.

At 18:55, the 116 Donghai rescue ship safely transferred 11 crew members in distress to Haixun 08202, and the rescue mission was successfully concluded.
