Big Little Lies

, its bewitching soundtrack, its five-star cast, its sumptuous sets… A series initially planned to last only for one season, but renewed in the face of critical and popular success by HBO.

And while it was believed that Season 2 will also be the last, it looks like it's still too early to put our hopes to rest.

In an interview with the Australian version of

Marie-Claire

, the star of the series Nicole Kidman hinted that a sequel to the adventures of the heroines of Monterey could see the light of day.

“Reese [Witherspoon] and I talk or write once a week.

She has just moved back to Nashville and we are very close.

We all want to work together again.

I wrote to Zoë [Kravitz] and Laura [Dern], and they're up for it, ”the actress said.

A realistic wish?

According to Celeste Wright's interpreter, writers David E. Kelley and Liane Moriarty “have a very good idea” for this potential season.

"Stay on the lookout", she even dares to launch to play with the nerves of the fans.

Worn by Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Zoë Kravitz, Laura Dern and Shailene Woodley,

Big Little Lies

could therefore once again create a surprise.

However, last year, the president of HBO, which broadcasts the series across the Atlantic, revealed that season 3 could hardly be started because of the fame of its cast.

“I love this group of people, I will do anything with them.

But the reality is, they are some of the busiest actresses in Hollywood.

I just don't think it's realistic, ”Casey Bloys told

TV Line

.

Only time (and the actresses' schedule) can make it lie.
