Are digital prisons created to punish real criminals?

In SBS'I want to know it', broadcast on the 10th, the digital prison was tracked under the subtitles of ``stuffed'' definition-the reality of'digital prison' and'the scarlet letter'.

In June, after Son, who ran the world's largest child sexual exploitation site'Welcome to Video', was ruled not to be repatriated to the United States, his personal information as well as the details of the judges in charge of the trial were released to the digital prison and attracted attention.

A digital prison was a website that revealed photos and personal information of criminals such as sexual violence, murder, and child abuse.

Accordingly, the operator promoted themselves by actively explaining the purpose of the establishment through various media.

However, a university student who unjustly claimed to have revealed his personal information here died, and several incidents occurred after that, and the operator of the site suddenly disappeared.

So what is the digital prison and who is the operator?

The operator of the digital prison revealed through some media that he was Director Park.

And he said that he has a helper to help him, and he reveals his personal information after thorough verification.

However, it was confirmed by looking at the cases of a few victims that they were not actually thoroughly verified.

Based on the information they had obtained, they recklessly disclosed their personal information without going through verification.

And it was confirmed that many victims have also arisen from these events.

And one informant revealed that he was the officials of the digital prison, and that their group had about 50 people working through division of labor, including workers who collect personal information, officers who manage them, and judges who decide whether to imprison. .

However, another informant claimed that the workers and helpers were helping the work because of the weakness of Director Park.

In addition, it was shocked when it was discovered that there is an educational college to cultivate workers.

And it turned out that many of the people whose identities were revealed to the digital prisons were threatened by the executives or ran away because they could not withstand what they were asked to do.

Accordingly, the production crew went to search for those who suffered such damage.

One victim said he fell into a trap after clicking on an ad that composes photos for free.

He said, “It was curiosity, there was nothing malicious,” he said.

Having identified himself as a Telegram vigilante, he urged the victim to submit a reflection statement and receive true education.

The victim, who spent two weeks in a chat room at the University of Education, said that he had always had extreme thoughts.

In the end, they couldn't make extreme choices in their parents' thoughts, and as soon as they left the room, the personal information was revealed to the digital prison.

Those who said they were victims of the Cham Education University on Telegram said that most of them were deported or left the room at the risk of personal disclosure.

And most of the paths that they suffered were similar.

Those who were caught in the lure of acquaintances, photo synthesis, etc. were threatened to reveal their personal information to the Telegram Vigilantes' scarlet letters and digital prisons.

What kind of place is the scarlet letter?

The expert said, "It is a site where you can share the personal information of violent offenders or sex offenders. There are close to 10,000 subscribers and more than 3,000 photos. There are many adults but many students."

In fact, most of the victims the production crew met were middle and high school students, and it turned out that they had no choice but to follow their instructions with fear of what would happen if their information spread.

Then, what were the vigilantes asking of them?

They made the victims memorize the rules they created, including essential reading, and threatened to penalize the victims or disclose their personal information if the score was low.

And the penalty they demanded is to slap them while sitting up and standing up.

It was absurd, such as dancing the ass of the jjanggu.

It claimed to educate criminals and enjoyed bullying.

The expert analyzed, "For them, this place has an exciting playground, a justification, and they feel their presence, and the victims cannot report it, so their actions were a good condition to ensure safety."

Another expert said, "This is the same method as in the doctoral room of No. N. If there are sexual slaves in Jo Joo-bin's doctoral room, this place is scared with honor. The pleasure of reigning above them will be the main purpose."

In fact, the victims lived like slaves under 24-hour surveillance like the victims of Room N.

He reported every step of the way until bed in the morning, noon, and evening, and he was unable to open his eyes even for a moment.

In addition, he even informed a manual for catching trainees saying that if they brought three other trainees, the record would be removed.

And when the university completes the curriculum, it is assigned to the main office, with a total of 3 bureaus, 14 departments, and only 30 employees.

The victim said, "Follow what you ordered like a regular clerk or contract worker and get promoted. If you get promoted, you will be discharged."

And the victim said he was assigned to the intelligence agency and immediately started working.

The activity he talked about was to comment on criticisms of the digital prison and inform his acquaintances of the identities of those who were deported or fled.

Why are they doing this?

The production team asked the executives to talk.

Then they asked the production team to verify their identity, and when they verified their identity, there was no further answer.

Blocking the crew.

Experts analyzed their identity as "because they must have a high degree of understanding of IT, they should be in their teens to 20s, at most in their 30s. It will not be more than that."

In fact, it turned out that the executives had a large number of peers similar to the victims.

Then, what is the connection between digital prison, scarlet letters, and education colleges?

Accordingly, the officials of the three organizations insisted that there was no correlation with each other.

And the college of education gave the trainees various jobs.

They committed other crimes, such as illegal Toto and drug throwing, and said that if they did the job well, they would be discharged.

However, no one was actually dismissed.

One informant said, "I haven't seen anyone going out in a month. I've been completely assimilated to them, so I can act as an executive they talk about, or I'm tired of doing it, so I'm either going up, or either.

The informant also supervised the disclosure of personal information and reported them after leaving the school.

However, the police said that there was no way they could do it because the victim was at fault and it was subject to foreign law.

An expert analyzed, "The huge sign is the public interest, but under that, we are developing illegal economic activities. It seems that we are trying to secure personal information and use it as a pretext for profit."

And this actually happened in the United States in 2017.

In 2017, in the United States, two men made 2.8 billion worth of money in exchange for posting mugshots of criminals on the Internet.

In the United States, individuals are not punished for disclosing the identity of a criminal, but it is known that they are punished for taking advantage.

In response, an expert said, "There is a possibility that the digital prison will turn into such a site."

And, in fact, it turned out that some of the victims were asked for money in exchange for personal information.

And the purpose of opening a digital prison was questionable.

They received sponsorships saying that those who were publicly disclosed were attacking DDoS and the cost of server management was high.

At the time, as soon as a post stating that they received a donation was posted, about 1.2 million won worth of money was collected as a donation.

The head of a digital prison, who had been in hiding for attempting to capture criminals himself, was arrested in Vietnam in September and repatriated to South Korea on the 6th for investigation.

In response, the police said, "Park Mo-se is a fictitious person," and "He is the operator of Room N and the head of a digital prison."

Earlier, it was confirmed that the voices of the reporter related to Room N and the director of the Digital Prison, who reported to the production crew as being one of the executives of the digital prison, are too similar.

And as a result of expert analysis, there was an analysis that all three were the same person.

However, as the production crew guessed, they were the same person.

And the production crew confirmed that in 2019, long before reporting that he was the operator of Room N, he had reported that he was a close friend of the drug site operator.

The prison warden was the informant who was being investigated for drug sales in 2019.

In response, the police said, "In February 2019, I was being wanted and fled overseas because of the wanted."

Then, why did he try to tell the truth about drug sales, sex crimes, and digital education colleges?

The expert said, "The aim is to make offline jurisdictions distrust, ridicule, ridicule, and undermine the legitimacy of jurisdiction. Their existence is doing harm to maintain a healthy society."

Lastly, the broadcast claimed that they were vigilantes, but the criminals who really need to be searched out and educated do not get caught in their bait, and the education college has no ability to prevent sex crimes, and the actual victims are young students.

Accordingly, the broadcast emphasized that in order to protect children from another digital crime, they should know, rather than ignore, these things anymore.
