The Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced that it has confirmed that 203 new people have been infected with the new coronavirus in Tokyo based on preliminary figures as of 3:00 pm on the 9th.
The number of confirmed infections per day exceeds 200 for the second consecutive day.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Tokyo to 27,320.
