The impacts of arctic warming are growing

An official Norwegian report predicts, in fact, a rise in temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees by the end of the century in this archipelago.

Since the mid-1990s, the Arctic has been warming at a rate more than twice that of the rest of the world.

Most of its transformations have occurred since WWII and they are accelerating!

This year, the Arctic sea ice reached its second lowest area on record: 3.7 million square kilometers, half the size of 40 years ago.

All these changes are putting the inhabitants and ecosystems of this region at risk.
