From 04:00 on October 8th, 10 newly imported confirmed cases and 7 asymptomatic infections were newly reported.
As of 24:00 on October 8, a total of 180 imported confirmed cases, 154 discharged from hospital, and 26 hospitalized were reported.
A total of 112 cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad were reported, 4 cases were converted to confirmed cases, 92 cases were released from medical observation, and 16 cases of asymptomatic infections were still under medical observation.
The 10 newly imported confirmed cases in Shaanxi and the 7 imported asymptomatic infections were passengers on the GJ8766 flight from Tashkent, Uzbekistan to Xi’an on October 7.
After flight GJ8766 arrived at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport on October 7, all flight personnel implemented closed-loop management measures such as customs quarantine, nucleic acid testing, point-to-point transfer, isolated diagnosis and treatment, and isolated medical observation.
