On the eve of the Spring Festival in 2020, Zhang Jie and her family traveled in Japan.

Unexpectedly, a serious car accident completely changed their itinerary.

Zhang Jie suffered a traumatic brain injury in the car accident and suffered multiple fractures throughout the body.

Under the treatment of the Chiba Kita General Hospital of Japan Medical University, Zhang Jie saved his life, but caused sequelae such as aphasia, swallowing dysfunction, and limb dysfunction in the traumatic brain injury. He has been receiving conservative treatment in the hospital.

At that time, when the new crown pneumonia epidemic was raging, the hospital visit time was only 15-20 minutes a day, which made her husband Yu Ming feel even more tormented.

Based on this situation, the Chiba Kita General Hospital of Japan Medical University turned to the Chinese Embassy in Japan and Zhejiang Tianrui Medical International Consultation Center to help coordinate the patient's return to China.

Subsequently, the Consular Office of the Chinese Embassy in Japan coordinated with various parties to help arrange the transfer of patients and their families to Hangzhou Xixi Hospital after entry.

After multiple coordinations, the humanitarian rescue officially entered "real combat" at the end of September.

The doctor Zhou Ye who was entoured was "fully armed" wearing isolation suits and boarding the plane from Japan to pick up patients back home.

So far, this transoceanic humanitarian rescue has temporarily drawn a successful conclusion.
