Still shocking images.

L214 broadcast this Wednesday a video shot in an intensive pig farm in Barrais-Bussolles (Allier).

We see sick, weakened piglets suffering from skin lesions.

The images testify to the extreme promiscuity of the pigs, the aggressiveness between them and the wounds visible on the body of some.

A lying animal is even eaten by its congeners.

In other shots, L214 shows the corpses of pigs piled up as well as the antibiotics stored on the site.

"The banal hell of a pig farm", describes the association for the defense of animals.

End intensive farming

The objective of L214 is to convince as many people as possible to contact their deputies and ask them to legislate against intensive breeding.

A bill going in this direction is in fact submitted for debate this Thursday in the National Assembly.

L214 also offers a process allowing you to contact your elected official "in three clicks".

Action is all the more necessary as "80% of the animals used in food production come from intensive breeding", specifies the association.

88% of the French population would like to see these practices stop, according to her.

Finally, L214 indicates that the owner of the filmed farm is none other than the manager of "one of the largest French pig cooperatives".
