  The reporter learned from the railway department that yesterday there were 100,000 passengers at Beijing Railway Station, 170,000 passengers at Beijing South Railway Station, 196,000 passengers at Beijing West Railway Station, and more than 30,000 passengers at Qinghe Station and Beijing North Railway Station.

  In response to the significant increase in the flow of returning passengers to Beijing, all stations have increased outbound channels and sent additional staff to maintain order on the scene.

Beijing Railway Station has formed an information transmission mechanism with regional management committees and transportation departments to make detailed statistics on the number of passengers arriving at the station on the second day by train number and time period 12 hours in advance, report timely, and adjust the connection capacity around the station.

Beijing West Railway Station increased the number of exit operators, established early warning plans for the different location characteristics of the six exits, and grasped the passenger flow at each exit in real time.

Beijing Railway Station has also set up a free mask issuing machine in the station, and passengers can scan the code to receive it.

  The railway department stated that it will pay close attention to the operation status of the arriving train during the return phase.

In case of emergencies such as the arrival of the train being delayed, relevant plans are activated at any time to adjust the surrounding traffic capacity arrangements in real time, such as dispatching additional taxis.

  By contacting the subway and public transportation departments, Beijing Railway Station will extend the operating hours of the subway and increase the number of night buses based on the arrival of passengers. The newly transformed taxi waiting area will also provide more vehicles.

  For passengers arriving at night, the railway and transportation departments will do a good job of guiding, strengthening route publicity, guiding passengers to take the night bus, and improving the efficiency of night connection.

  Among them, during the night of October 6 to October 8, the operation time of Metro Line 2, Line 4, and Line 7 will be extended. It is recommended that passengers should prefer the subway to travel.

In the area of ​​Beijing West Railway Station, there is also a free night shuttle bus to Changchunjie Station of Metro Line 2.

  At present, there are 7 night bus lines in the West Railway Station area, namely: Ye5, Ye8, Ye14, Ye15, Ye22, Ye23, and Ye36.

During peak passenger flow, passengers can first transfer to night buses to leave the West Station area, and then transfer to other vehicles on the surrounding road network.
